Bob has a long-standing association with Marvel Comics, which lasts up to today. He has drawn almost every major character for Marvel, at one time or another, including The Champions, Spiderman, Dr. Doom, Conan, Thor, the Fantastic Four, The Submariner, Captain America, PSI Force, The Avengers, and The New Mutants. He also drew the comic book movie adaptations of Willow, Dark Man, and the notorious Captain America-the Movie. Bob has also done work with Valiant comics such as Shadowman. Since Acclaim's demise in the mid 1990's, Bob has continued working for both D.C. and Marvel. Within the last five years, Bob Hall wrote and illustrated three graphic novels for D.C.'s "Prestige Series" - I, Joker, Batman DOA, and the mini-series, Its Jokertime.
